However, the same can’t be said for John Millman (4) of Australia or Ricardas Berankis (7) of Lithuania, who will only move on in the unlikely event that a player in the main draw bows out.
Soonwoo Kwon of South Korea, Bradley Klahn of the US (at the expense of Canadian Steven Diez), Ilya Ivashka of Belarus and Tommy Paul of the US round out the list of survivors. The main draw gets underway on Monday at 11 a.m.
