
On Saturday, the qualifying event of Rogers Cup presented by National Bank gets underway at 11 a.m. on the hard courts at IGA Stadium in Montréal.
Three Canadians will play in the first round of the quallies to determine the seven men whose names will be added to the prestigious main draw, which begins on Monday.
Alexis Galarneau of Laval is the first Canadian to appear on National Bank Court at 11 a.m. His opponent is Ricardas Berankis (7) of Lithuania, who is one of the favourites to move on.

In mid-afternoon, Steven Diez of Ontario will battle Alexander Bublik (5) of Kazakhstan on National Bank Court.
Filip Peliwo will come to blows with the powerful John Millman (4) of Australia around 5 p.m.
Seasoned warriors Hubert Hurkacz (1) of Poland, Bernard Tomic (14), Daniel Evans (2), Feliciano Lopez (3), Ivo Karlovic (8) and Robin Haase (11) will all fight to come through the qualifying rounds.
