Thursday was National Bank Day at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers. For the occasion, Tennis Canada celebrated its Game. Set. Equity. Commitment (GSE) and the advancement of women and girls in tennis.
In the most recent GSE impact report released earlier this year, it was revealed that 50% of U12 program participants at Tennis Canada events identify as girls (up from 35% in 2022), proving once more that seeing is believing.
That’s why Tennis Canada is proud to have women well-represented at every level of the organization, in all departments across the business, working for both the tournament and for tennis development, inspiring the next generation of young girls to follow in their footsteps. They are proof that representation matters and it’s an honour to showcase them today, and everyday.
