Alcaraz Stays Hot
Carlos Alcaraz maintained his excellent form ahead of Wimbledon, winning the HSBC Championships in London. The world No. 2 outlasted Jiri Lehecka 7-5, 6-7(5), 6-2 to win his fifth ATP title of the season and 21st of his career.
Alcaraz has now won three consecutive tournaments - the Masters 1000 event in Rome, Roland-Garros, and now his second title at the Queen’s Club. His win streak has reached 18 matches, having also reached five consecutive finals.
The 22-year-old Spainard made a quick transition from his triumphs on clay, winning his first grass-court event of the season as he ramps up to Wimbledon where he looks to win at the All-England Club for the third-consecutive year.
Wimbledon is set to begin on June 30.

Bublik claims Halle crown for second time
Alexander Bublik claimed his first ATP title of the season on Sunday, defeating Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6(4).
It’s the fifth title of the Kazakhstani’s career and the second time he’s won the title in Halle, adding to his 2023 victory, becoming just the fourth player in tournament history to win more than once, joining Roger Federer, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, and Tommy Haas.
Bublik, who upset world No. 1 Jannik Sinner en route to the Halle title, has been red hot to start the summer, reaching his first Grand Slam quarter-final at Roland-Garros before winning in Halle. At one point this season, the 27-year-old had lost 18 of 22 matches and sat outside the Top 75 in the ATP rankings but now has risen to No. 30.
