The round of 16 heats up on Centre Court as TennisFest keeps the party going around the grounds.
Here’s what to expect on Sunday at the 2025 National Bank Open in Toronto.
On-Court Action
The biggest stars in Toronto’s main draw will be in action in the round of 16.
The day session kicks off with American Frances Tiafoe taking on Australian Alex de Minaur. It’s the first time in his career that the seventh-seeded Tiafoe has reached the fourth round at the NBO. The No. 9-seeded Aussie reached this point with wins over Francisco Comesana and a walkover over Chris O’Connell. De Minaur leads Tiafoe 2-1 in their head-to-head matchups.
The day session will finish with No. 6 Andrey Rublev against No. 20 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. The Spaniard has shown top form thus far and has not dropped a set on his route to the fourth round, but will be in tough against Rublev, who leads the head-to-head history 5-1.

The 13th-seeded Cobolli, who has two tournament wins at this season, is 2-1 against Shelton in his career.
Sunday’s action will end with world No. 4 Taylor Fritz clashing with Jiri Lehecka. The American has not lost a set en route to the round of 16. The winner of this match will advance to face the winner of Rublev/Davidovich Fokina.
