Tennis Canada has announced the entry list for the qualifying event of the 2026 National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Montreal.
As part of the popular free IGA Family Weekend, 32 ATP players will battle for 16 coveted spots in the main draw. Qualifying action begins on Saturday, August 1, at IGA Stadium.
Main draw play gets underway on Sunday, August 2, while the tournament’s 32 seeded players begin their campaigns on Tuesday, August 4.

Among the marquee names in the first event is Arthur Fery of Great Britain, who soared from No.114 to a career-high No.36 in the ATP rankings following his sensational run to the Wimbledon semifinals last week. Also in the field are Australia’s Alexei Popyrin (No.103), the 2024 National Bank Open champion in Montréal, and American Jenson Brooksby (No.76), who earned his first ATP title in Houston in 2025 after coming through qualifying.
France will be well represented with Valentin Royer (No.77), 21-year-old Luca Van Assche (No.86), the former world No.1 junior, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (No.89), one of the tour’s biggest servers, Quentin Halys (No.90), Benjamin Bonzi (No.102) and Hugo Gaston (No. 107).
“The qualifying event is one of the best opportunities for fans to discover the future stars of world tennis before everyone else,” said Valérie Tétreault, Tournament Director of the National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Montreal. “Once again, this year, the level of competition will be exceptionally high, with several players capable of making a deep run in the tournament. Combined with IGA Family Weekend, the qualifying event offers a unique chance to experience the National Bank Open free of charge, enjoy a wide range of on-site activities, and watch world-class tennis in an outstanding atmosphere.”
To view the entry list for the qualifying event, click here. The remaining wild cards for the main draw and the qualifying event will be announced in the coming weeks. The main draw will be held on Friday, July 31, at 11 a.m., while the qualifying draw will take place later that afternoon.
The IGA Family Weekend takes place on August 1 and 2 and features a wide range of free activities for the whole family. Fans will also have exclusive access to top-level tennis, including main draw matches on Sunday. Admission to the site is free, but visitors must reserve their tickets by downloading their free pass.
