Must-do Activities at the 2026 National Bank Open in Toronto

The 2026 National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Toronto has something for everyone this August.

Whether you are an event seeker looking for a vibrant day or night out with friends, or a family seeking an easy, memorable shared experience – the Tennis Playground has it all.

If you been inspired after watching the WTA’s best take to the court, the National Bank Open also allows fan to pick up a racquet themselves, then wind down with our everyday Happy Hour or ranging food options.

You don’t need to be a tennis expert to check out all that the National Bank Open has to offer, and here’s a peak into what’s new and returning around the grounds at Sobeys Stadium.

What’s New at the Tennis Playground

The Impossible Shot driven by Mercedes-Benz

Dare you try to hit the impossible shot? Even some of your favourite tennis stars can’t hit this one.

Participate in the impossible shot challenge located in the Tennis Canada fan zone. Highest scores on the leaderboard will be eligible to compete to win a special prize on Centre Court.

Toronto Tempo

New to the city of Toronto, and joining us at the National Bank Open this year, is Canada’s first WNBA team – the Toronto Tempo.

Representatives of the team will take part in a special edition of TennisTalk on August 8 and bring the excitement to the court with the Tempo Drill, an interactive basketball challenge. Fans can compete for prizes such as seeing the Tempo play in their first-ever season with gameday tickets and merch to rep Toronto’s newest franchise.
