The first two quarter-finals of the 2026 National Bank Open presented by Rogers will be contested on Monday night.
The first match will pit six-time major champion Iga Swiatek, who is the highest-ranked player left in the top half of the draw, against Diana Shnaider, who just upset two-time champion Jessica Pegula in the fourth round.
In the second match, 16th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova will look to back up her upset of world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka when she takes on 2017 Toronto champion Elina Svitolina.

CENTRE COURT - starts at 07:00 PM
- [7] Iga Swiatek (POL) d. [15] Diana Shnaider 6-2, 6-1
- Swiatek was clinical on Monday night, needing just 64 minutes to reach her first semifinal in Toronto. The Pole took advantage of a nervous-looking Shnaider, breaking in the opening game as her opponent struggled to keep the ball in the court. Swiatek never let her foot off the gas, breaking twice in the first set and three times in a row in the second to secure the win. While Shnaider never found her rhythm, committing 22 unforced errors in just 15 games, the six-time major champion could not have played much cleaner, committing just eight errors and never losing more than two points in a game on her own serve.
- [16] Ekaterina Alexandrova vs [9] Elina Svitolina (UKR)
GRANDSTAND - starts at 05:00 PM
- [1] Katerina Siniakova (CZE) / Shuai Zhang (CHN) d. Storm Hunter (AUS) / Desirae Krawczyk (USA) 6-3, 6-4
- Siniakova and Zhang faced a break point in their second service game, but from there, the top seeds cruised. They broke in the very next game, the only break of the first set and broke again in the fifth game of the second set. The pair never faced a break point again after the fourth game of the first set and added their third in the final game.
