Canadian Leylah Annie Fernandez could not continue her strong run in front of the supportive crowd on Centre Court, as she was eliminated in straight sets by Naomi Osaka 6-4, 6-4. She will leave the tournament having reached the round of 16 while earning her biggest win of the season over fifth-ranked Mirra Andreeva.

Eala-mania came to an end on Sunday night as the Filipino phenomenon was eliminated in the round of 16 in straight sets 6-4, 6-0 by Belinda Bencic
Elena Rybakina is through to the quarter-finals in Toronto after defeating Liudmila Samsonova 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 in a lively affair on Centre Court. There were seven breaks in a wild first set, with Rybakina dealing the decisive blow as Samsonova served to stay in the set. After winning the second, Samsonova went up 3-0 on the world No. 2, looking for the massive upset. However, the Australian Open champion would go on to win six of the next seven games to complete the comeback win.
Coco Gauff rounds out the winners from Sunday, as she put an end to Alina Korneeva’s breakout run.

The final day of Tennisfest Weekend kicked off with the Coffee Party on Court 5 and then moved to the rest of the grounds, where fans could play King of the Court or enjoy live music from DJ Flavia and the Christian James Band.
It was fan appreciation night at the evening session, with Yassin and Sean Terrio provided the live entertainment on the TC Main Stage.
