Know Before You Go

  • The best time of day to attend depends on personal preferences and who you are attending with.

If you are attending with children, day sessions offer more family-friendly programming and flexible access options. Family Weekend is the best time to come with children. To avoid large crowds and enjoy a smoother entry process, arriving earlier in the day is also optimal. But if you're attending during the day, be mindful that these are outdoor stadiums. Pack sunscreen and a hat because when the sun is out, it can feel hot.

If you prefer cooler temperatures, then evening sessions are best, since the site is typically more comfortable once the sun sets. Evening sessions are also ideal if you're seeking a high-energy atmosphere. The late afternoon into evening is when the energy builds, especially during prime-time matches.

  • We recommend arriving 60 to 90 minutes ahead of the scheduled time of your first ticketed match. That ensures you'll have enough time to enter the stadium, go through security and bag check, explore the site and activations, grab food and drinks, and make the quick walk to the court for the start of play.

In addition to your reserved seat during your session, your ticket gives you access to the grounds all day until the site closes. However, you will need to vacate your seats for the next session. You'll still have access to Rogers Court on level 200 (first-come, first-served) and to all secondary courts (first-come, first-served).

  • You'll be outside, so bring what makes you comfortable. Some suggestions include sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a refillable plastic or metal water bottle (water bottles must be empty upon entry unless they are sealed. There are water refill stations on the grounds.) We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking around the grounds. If you're attending an evening session, a light jacket or extra layers can help keep you warm when the sun goes down. The NBO also uses mobile ticket access, so make sure your phone is fully charged or pack a portable charger to ensure you can access your tickets all session long.

  • While there’s a huge variety of food and beverage (hyperlink to F&B help centre) options on-site in both Montreal and Toronto, bringing a small snack and water is allowed. Water bottles must be empty on entry, unless they are sealed.

Important: Alcohol is not permitted on-site in either city and will be confiscated at entry.
