Sinner Returning to Form, Djokovic Marches Towards History
After his shocking upset loss at Roland-Garros, Jannik Sinner needed a strong early performance to silence the doubters. While he didn’t put up a dominant win, it was the win he needed to get back on track.
The world No. 1 was pushed to the limit by Miomir Kecmanovic in the first round, needing to come back from down two sets to one to beat the world No. 50. The challenging opener seems to have kicked Sinner back into form, as the four-time Grand Slam winner has followed up with three consecutive straight-sets wins over Nuno Borges, Jenson Brooksby, and Shintaro Mochizuki to reach the quarters.
He defeated Jan-Lennard Struff on Tuesday to reach the semifinals.

Novak Djokovic continued his march towards history over the weekend, reaching the Wimbledon quarter-final for the 17th time with a fourth-round victory over Roman Safiullin on Sunday. The win was also his 106th at the London major, moving him past Roger Federer’s record mark.
The 39-year-old is still in search of his 25th Grand Slam title and first since the 2023 US Open. The seven-time Wimbledon champion has dropped a set in three of his four matches. Djokovic will take on Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-final following the third seed’s thrilling five-set win over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina on Sunday.

Fery’s Cinderella Run Reaches Round 4
British wild card Arthur Fery continued his incredible run at the All-England Club on Saturday, coming back from two sets to one and 4-1 down to defeat Zizou Bergs 2-6, 7-5, 2-6, 7-6(3), 7-6(5) and reach the fourth round at a Grand Slam for the first time.
Fery became the second British wild card to reach the Round of 16 after Andrew Foster reached the same heights at Wimbledon in 1993.
"It's a really special moment. I can't really fully process it yet," Fery said. "When I'm playing this well and having these kind of results, it was only a matter of time till I broke the Top 100. It's still a significant milestone. As I said, yeah, doing it here is incredibly special for me. It's my home tournament. It's where I grew up. So yeah, it's very special."
The 23-year–old entered the tournament ranked a career-best No. 114 in the world but jumped to 91st in the ATP Live Rankings with the third-round win.
After taking our former world No. 3 Grigor Dimitrov in the fourth round, he’s set to face Flavio Cobolli in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.
