Thanks to Mother Nature, there wasn’t a lot of tennis played in Montreal on Sunday, but the rain didn’t stop fans, players and special guests from having a great time around the site to wrap up IGA Family Weekend.

Two first-round matches were completed with Spaniard Jaume Munar defeating Aussie Rinky Hijikata and Juncheng Shang of China getting the better of Paraguay’s Adolfo Daniel Vallejo.

Off the court, Flavio Cobolli did yoga with fans, Joao Fonseca played mini tennis with kids, and Alexander Blockx spent time with the National Bank Little Aces.

Meanwhile, K-pop music made its debut at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers with an entertaining show that added some sunshine on a rainy day, and DJ Antonin had everyone dancing, making sure to keep the spirit of Teen Night alive.

Canadian Olympians Danaé Blais, Florence Brunelle, Jordan Pierre-Gilles, and Courtney Sarault were also enjoyed their day at IGA Stadium.

Monday’s order of play is jam-packed with 27 first-round matches on the schedule featuring the likes of Gabriel Diallo, Alexis Galarneau, Jack Draper, Matteo Berrettini, Gael Monfils, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Marin Cilic taking centre stage.
