The Next Gen of the ATP Tour continue to shine bright at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Montreal.

A pair of young stars, France’s Arthur Fils and Spaniard Rafael Jodar, will meet on Monday night for a spot in the semi-finals after both put forth convincing performances jn the Round of 16 on Saturday night. Jodar, who reached the Washington final on Monday, continued to roll with a dominant 6-3, 6-3 victory over eighth-seeded Jiri Lehecka of Czechia.

The 19-year-old is now up to a career-high No. 13 on the live ATP rankings after winning seven of his last eight matches. He has now reached three consecutive Masters 1000 quarter-finals dating back to Madrid during the clay season.

Meanwhile, Fils was a 6-2, 7-6(8) winner over Brit Cameron Norrie to wrap up play at IGA Stadium, converting on a sixth match point. This will be his fourth Masters 1000 quarter-final of the season after advancing to the final eight in Indian Wells, Miami and Madrid.

Monday’s first quarter-final matchup will pit No. 19 seed Luciano Darderi of Italy against American Brandon Nakshima who both prevailed in long, tight three-set matches in the fourth round.

The second edition of the Van Houtte Coffee Party in collaboration with Croissound will be Sunday morning on Courts 3 and 4. The event is already sold out.

TennisFest Weekend presented by Celsius will close with Canadian Fan Appreciation Night featuring a special appearance by Montreal Victoire players Catherine Dubois, Jade Downie-Landry and Alexandra Labelle who will bring the Walter Cup on-site. Fans will have the chance for a photo opportunity from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the 2027 tickets kiosk in front of Access 1.
