Iga Swiatek eased into the semifinals with a dominant 6-2, 6-1 win over Diana Shnaider to open the night on Centre Court. The seventh seed got off to a quick start by breaking Shnaider in the first game of the match. Swiatek would not let up there, breaking Shnaider one more time in the set to take the first in just 31 minutes.

Shnaider got off to a better start in the second with an opening-game hold, but the Pole put her foot down from there. Swiatek won six straight games to finish the match, breaking the world No. 17 three more times en route to the straight-sets win. She now moves into the NBO semifinal for the second time in her career.
Monday’s second quarter-final saw No. 9 Elina Svitolina rally from a set down to beat No. 16 Ekaterina Alexandrova 3-6, 6-0, 6-3. Alexandrova got off to a picture-perfect start, breaking Svitolina twice in the first to take the set.
The Ukrainian turned things around in a hurry, breaking Alexandrova three times in the second set, while saving the only break point she faced to sweep a dominant set, 6-0. It was more of the same dominance in the third set as Svitolina broke her opponent twice to take a 5-1 lead. Alexandrova would put pressure on with a hold and a break, but Svitolina would put it away with her sixth break of the match, this time at love, to head to the semis.
