- Volunteers General Info
How can I register as a volunteer?
If you would like to volunteer in Montreal, you can submit your online application from January until July. Should you be selected, expect a call from a National Bank Open Committee Head around June to inform you of the dates of our mandatory volunteer meetings, training and your shift selections.
If you would like to volunteer in Toronto, the deadline to register is May 1. Once you have submitted your form, you will be contacted by Tennis Canada and informed of the dates of our volunteer fairs which will be held in May. Each new volunteer needs to be interviewed during the volunteer fairs. It is at these interviews that your talents are assessed and a recommendation for placement is provided. You will then be contacted with further instructions regarding training and scheduling.

Absolutely! We have National Bank Open volunteers from other provinces, countries, and continents. We ask that you please remember that Tennis Canada is unable to reimburse any travel or accommodation costs incurred by our volunteers and we ask that all our volunteers be proficient in English. While we will make every effort to find suitable alternative arrangements, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee placement for volunteers who are unable to complete the entire registration process.
I volunteered last year. Do I have to register this year?
We require all National Bank Open volunteers, whether they are new or returning, to register each year they wish to volunteer.
