Top seeds Marcel Granollers (Spain) and Horacio Zeballos (Argentina) are the newly crowned doubles champions of the 2024 National Bank Open presented by Rogers.
On Monday evening, it took them just over an hour (64 minutes) to dispose of no.3 seeds Rajeev Ram (USA) and Joe Salisbury (Great Britain) 6-2, 7-6(4).
With their triumph, Granollers and Zeballos claimed their second Canadian crown after winning together in Montreal in 2019.

Unfortunately for the runners-up, they also lost in last year’s final.
It was the tenth ATP showdown in the teams’ head-to-head and fourth win for Granollers and Zeballos.
At 38, Granollers secured his 26th doubles title, while his 39-year-old partner has now amassed 29 titles in his brilliant career.

Ram, the 40-year-old veteran, has 31 titles in his trophy case and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. And at 32, Salisbury is the youngest of the four and has already brought home 17 winners’ trophies.
The champions will share US$322,000 in prize money, leaving US$174,900 for the runners-up.
