Auger-Aliassime wins All-Canadian Battle vs. Diallo
It was an all-Canadian affair Sunday night in Indian Wells as Montrealers Félix Auger-Aliassime and Gabriel Diallo faced off in the third round.
The Canadian No. 1 emerged victorious with a comeback 6-7(5), 6-3, 6-3 win. After Diallo earned the first-set win, Auger-Aliassime found his form and took control the rest of the way. He was not broken over the final two sets as he earned his place in the round of 16.
The world No. 9 will take on Arthur Fils on Tuesday with a spot in the quarter-final on the line.
Fellow Canadian Denis Shapovalov was also on court on Sunday but was eliminated by Jannik Sinner 6-3, 6-2. The world No. 2 will take on Joao Fonseca in the round of 16.

World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz has continued his undefeated season and will take on Arthur Rinderknech in his third-round matchup.
